Protests continued last Friday in Ni'ilin and Nabi Salih.


Gazans were jubilant at the success of the Egyptians at ousting Hosni Mubarak.


Israelis are still reacting to the Egyptian ouster of Hosni Mubarark.
These next two videos are in the series Inside the Military Repression of Nabi Saleh.  The first shows the arrest of a 11 year old boy.  The second shows a raid at 2am to check youths' names & IDs.



In Bilin, hundreds (Palestinians, Israelis & internationals) turn out to mark six years of demos. They are met with teargas.


Villagers in Al-Arakib see an escalation by Israeli police when they attack villagers standing in the cemetery with rubber bullets & teargas.


The US has once again vetoed a UN Security Council resolution. This one condemned settlements in the West Bank, a position that is the official position of the US, except when it comes to UN resolutions.
Susan Rice, US Ambassador to the UN, does a yeoman job, though her logic breaks down. The US vetoed the resolution because a resolution condemning settlements would lead to more settlements. Huh?

This Friday, the demo in Sheikh Jarrah saw an attempt to build a temporary shelter ( a sukkah) which they attempted to carry past the police.


Last Friday, Sheikh Jarrah was the scene of another demo.


Protesters gathered in front of Jerusalem Municipal offices to protest settlements approved for Sheikh Jarrah.


UNRWA said the blockade is causing a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Gazans reacted with jubilation to the ouster of Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, shooting off guns & fireworks.  Palestinians in the West Bank were also jubilant, while many Israelis expressed unease.
