Six Palestinian activists Tuesday attempted to board Jerusalem bound buses in the West Bank as part of an action to draw parallels between opposition to the Occupation & the US Civil Rights Movement. The activists were able to board a bus, but were removed & arrested at Hizmeh checkpoint into Jerusalem, interrogated by the Shabak, & then released.

Activists in Susia help Palestinians harvest olives, with the IDF watching. Two settlers show up. A settler with a dog steals a sack of olives, & gets the dog to grab another sack. The border police are called, but they do nothing. The soldiers & police close the olive grove to the activists & farmers. A settler takes a last sack of olives.

The CBC reports that the Canadian & Irish aid ships bound to Gaza have been boarded by Israeli Marines & are now being towed to Ashdod, where the activists on board the two vessels will be questioned by Israel police & then deported to their countries.
