While trying to return to his home watch how Israeli Occupation Army
violates this Palestinian man, humiliates him , and treats him as if he
is not a human being who deserves to be treated with his God given
rights !
Upon returning home this Hebron resident passed through the military
checkpoint in Tal- Ramieda ( a place of constant harassment, torture,
and daily human rights violations of the Palestinian people )
where he must pass through security and live as a prisoner in his own
home . But today that was not enough to inflict upon a people whose only
crime to this Occupation Army is that they are Palestinian , the army
forced and subject this man to a search, and also stripped of his
clothes violating his privacy , and forced to walk home with his clothes
not on his body but in his hands .
This is the daily suffering by the Israeli Occupation Army. Day by day
we watch the situation worsen and the Occupation always avoid
consequences for this brutal racist system they have built
At midnight in Hebron Palestinian residents gathered and sat outside of
the Itamar Occupation checkpoint in Tel- Rumeida to protest against the
extreme racist unlawful , illicit and prejudice treatment of
Palestinians in Hebron which by the day becomes worse , such as the
humiliating procedures of being subject to full body searches and
forcefully being stripped of their clothes and their human rights .Since
2017 the Israeli Occupation military imposes new and more extreme
systematic “ laws” on the Palestinian population . Everyday we watch
more and more of the very little human rights they have left be taken
away .
Not because they did anything wrong , only because they are Palestinian .

Activists with the International Solidarity Movement spoke to Bassem Tamimi about the the situation in Nabi Salih, life under occupation, and the connection between capitalism and colonization. him they pulled his dead body from the bulldozer to the road. This all
happened in the vicinity of the illegal settlement Kiryat Arab
Conversations about Israel/Palestine are often charged and challenging.
Many families and friends avoid the subject to keep the peace and worry
that even a slight criticism of Israel can result in being labeled
anti-Semitic. At JVP-NYC we want to create a space where we can discuss
this subject, with respect and active listening, with the aim to build
relationships and understanding. Wresting With Zionism is a collection
of stories from people from range of backgrounds who share their
evolving relationships to Zionism.

The poverty in Israel is so great that sometimes it seems that there is nothing to be done about it. So after we asked in the previous episodes who is poor, what is food insecurity and who is responsible for correcting the situation, we will finish with a practical question - what can be done about the poverty in Israel?
Does a joint Israeli-Palestinian memorial ceremony commemorating the victims of both sides creates symmetry of bereavement? Is "a bereaved family a bereaved family" as one of the speakers in the article told us, or does the ceremony, which exists as long as one side is the occupier and the other side struggles to free itself, presents a false state of symmetry?
