About 100 women and men demonstrated on Monday (24.6) in front of the entrance at the entrance to #Bazan
(ORL) in Haifa and called for their immediate closure and for the
transition to renewable energies. The demonstrators referred to the
State Comptroller's report, which pointed to severe failures in
maintaining the health of the residents and failure to achieve targets
for reducing air pollution. The demonstration was attended by the "#Extinction_Rebellion"
movement, a worldwide movement that swept millions around the world,
activists from the "Green Course" movement, residents of Haifa and the
Krayot - children and adults, as well as former Knesset Member Miki
Haimovitz '. The operation included installation of coffins and blocking
the road at the entrance to the factories.
