Taylor Swift wore Leviev diamonds in photos in Vanity Fair's September
2015 edition. Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev's companies have built
illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land, and have been
implicated in human rights abuses in Angola's diamond industry.

Organizations,
governments and Hollywood stars have severed ties with Leviev over his
companies' unethical business practices. Seven organizations wrote to
Ms. Swift in September asking her to publicly distance herself from
Leviev (https://adalahny.org/document/1358/se...).

Ms.
Swift and her team have not responded to that email or to our repeated
follow-up calls. This video reiterates our request to Taylor Swift.

Taylor
Swift claims that she keeps it real and that 'fakers are going to fake'
-- yet she's wearing Leviev conflict diamonds in Vanity Fair and has to
date failed to publicly distance herself from Leviev's companies' human
rights abuses. Taylor Swift, don’t support crimes against Palestinians
and Angolans!

Abu Sakha is a 23 year old Palestinian. He has been working at the Palestinian circus school for four years inspiring and giving hope to children every day. On the 14th December he was arrested by Israeli forces. No charges have been pressed against him but the Israeli government can hold him indefinitely without charge. This is called 'administrative detention'. He has no contact with friends and family. Inhumane conditions including torture and solitary confinement are standard procedure in Israeli prisons. Abu Sakha is one of hundreds of young Palestinians being held without charge. The Israeli practice of administrative detention has been condemned on numerous occasions by the UN Human Rights Office and the Human Rights Committee that oversees implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which Israel has ratified.
