Dahmash is a Palestinian village in Israel near Tel Aviv. Except the Israel government doesn't recognize it. So, no sewer lines, no garbage pick-up, no mail delivery, no schools. The father from one of the houses asks, This is a democracy? Thirteen homes have received demolition notices. They held a demonstration against house demolitions last Sunday with Israeli activists & residents from Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem.

Finally, here is a link to Uri Avnery's most recent column. He is an activist with Gush Shalom.
