Masarwa is an Israeli Arab, who speaks English, Arabic, & Hebrew. According to her account, she is the woman I heard on the livefeed from the Mavi Marmara shouting in English "We have many wounded! We need medical help!" After the flotilla reached Ashdod, she was singled out for harsher treatment because she was an Israeli Arab. She was released when Turkey demanded all flotilla members be released from prison, but she still is under house arrest in Kfor Qara & can't leave Israel for 45 days.
