'Activists protest near the southern town of Lehavim, against the Prawer-Begin Plan, a governmental plan which if implemented will displace more than forty thousand Bedouin citizens from their homes in the Negev desert, August 1, 2013.
According to the plan, which the government failed to consult the Bedouin community on when drafting, nearly all residents in the unrecognized Negev villages will be evicted and forcibly relocated to planned communities. The first of August was announced as a "day of rage" in the Arab towns in Israel, protests took place in the Negev, in the north and Jerusalem.'
