How liberal is Tel Aviv? Take a tour with former city council member
Sami Abu Shehade and view the reality of ongoing ethnic cleansing that
the Tel Aviv-Jaffa (Yafa) municipality is responsible for, since 1948 to
this day.

Yafa is one of the oldest cities in the world with a
4000 year history. Yet, the newly created city of Tel Aviv had
physically destroyed much of Yafa and drove away over 95% of its
inhabitants, while trying to erase its rich legacy. The ethnic cleansing
of Yafa, which was carried out in 1948, had not stopped but had
recently transformed into an economic transfer under the guise of the
(racist) law.

Do you support the city council of Amsterdam, who
successfully deals with confronting its own dark past, in its initiative
of twinning with the city Tel Aviv-Jaffa who is constantly in the
process of covering up its dark past and even darker present? Should
mayor Eberhard Van Der Laan accept this reality by twinning and giving a
green light to Israeli apartheid?

An official municipality ad
boasts that "The IDF enlistment rate from Tel-Aviv city schools is 91%
for girls and 92% for boys." as well as bragging that "Tel Aviv is the
city with the largest number of career officers in the Israeli army."
