With the publication of the Arrangements Law for 2019, the activists of the community channel were informed that the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Communications had abandoned them. Following the threat to close the channel, the activists mobilized and put pressure on the government and Knesset members until eventually the proposal to stop funding the channel was removed.
